Originally built in 1805, Bath’s Theatre Royal was beautifully refurbished in 2010, with The Main House providing a year-round programme of high calibre performances; from drama, comedy and opera to West End productions and dance, there is a plethora of entertainment provided.
The Georgian playhouse also extends into two additional theatres within close proximity; The Egg provides a theatrical space primarily for children and families, equipped with its own café. The other is the Ustinov Studio, which produces nationally-acclaimed premieres, alongside contemporary drama, comedy and music from visiting companies.
Theatre Royal Bath Productions operates as the theatre’s commercial production arm and are considered to be one of the most prolific in the West End, UK touring circuit and internationally, with more than 200 productions, including 40+ West End transfers, under-the-belt since their inception.
